From November 20-23, The Illicit Connections Opaque Networks Lab is proud to be American Society of Criminology 69th Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

The ICON Lab will be presenting two presentations this year.

On Wednesday, November 20, at 2pm, Christopher Bates, Dr. Aili Malm, and Dr. Dina Perrone will present: Criminological Discovery: Understanding Theoretical Development with Social Network Analysis. This paper examines the historical context of criminological thought using social network analysis. This is part of a panel on integrating criminal knowledge.

On Friday, November 22, at 2pm, Dr. Becky Nash, Dr. Martin Bouchard, and Dr. Aili E. Malm, will present: Twisting Trust: Eron’s Manipulation of Trust and the Ability to Perform Effective Due Diligence. Dr. Nash is the chair of this panel on the role of trust and social networks in crime.
