Profit versus ideology: the formation and evolution of drug trafficking and terrorist networks

This project is a collaboration between the University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia), Simon Fraser University (Burnaby, Canada), and California State University, Long Beach. The goal of the proposed research is to uncover how terrorist networks develop, grow and evolve using social network analysis (SNA). By providing insight into illicit networks, the research can identify the best way to target the network in order to most effectively disrupt and dismantle it.
